The whimsical artist of OLÁ
The works of OLÁ’s artistic collaborator, Spanish artist Eva Armisén, can be found throughout the development and show gallery. Having collaborated with brands like Coca-Cola, O’2nd, SkinFood Cosmetics, and Samsung, her works today are recognisable around the world for her whimsical portraits of everyday life, brought alive with a bright but nuanced palette of colours, reminiscent of a surrealist sort of folk-art.
Often featuring variations of a core self-portrait — a girl with thick dark hair, cheeks daubed with a light rosiness, an enigmatic smile on her face, Eva brings back elements of whimsy and wonder through her portraits of life.
From the entrance of Ola, the view opens to the landscape deck, leading users within the mystic spaces. The arrival deck is bright and welcoming. Open spaces are created in between the different buildings in order to bring in more light and provide an airy atmosphere. Greenery is juxtaposed against light walls, and light fixtures are abundant throughout.
Following the entrance drop off, the exclusive deck and pool area is next. Wooden paneling is used alongside leafy palms to create a recreational holiday experience. People can indulge in swimming in the clear waters, and even partake in leisurely activity like lounging along the pool. The colors and overall theme reflect the Spanish colors and pattern designs. Let the water sooth the stress of work and everyday life, and allow all your worries to dissipate and fade into the water. There will be a sculptured lush planting at the side, accompanied with other pool facilities which can be enjoyed by both the young and old alike.

New Punggol Town Hub to open in 2021 with hawker centre and library
Punggol residents will have more to look forward to come 2021 with the opening of Punggol Town Hub (PTH) that will feature a new hawker centre and library among other amenities. The integrated hub, managed by the People’s Association (PA), will bring together programmes and services from multiple agencies.
Residents can also look forward to a new hawker centre, public library, revamped Punggol Vista CC which will be about seven times the size of the current void deck CC, a childcare centre and multiple health service centres at PTH.
The 42,300 sq m hub will be located opposite Waterway Point, and next to the upcoming Punggol Regional Sports Centre. It will also be connected to Punggol MRT, Punggol Town Square and Sam Kee LRT Station.
50-hectare Punggol Digital District is on track for completion from 2023
The 50-hectare Punggol Digital District is on track for completion from 2023, with the first phase of a key feature - a central platform that will collect real-time data from the district - now completed.
The Punggol Digital District will incorporate a business park, the Singapore Institute of Technology’s new campus as well as community facilities. It is slated to open progressively from 2023 and will create 28,000 jobs in fields such as cybersecurity and data analytics.
